Popper Design Contest

Rules

• Participants must select and use any numbered popper body and hook from the selection offered by STFF. Participants will register their “popper number” on the official registration sheet.

• The popper body may be changed, modified, reconfigured, painted, carved or otherwise decorated. However, the basis of the finished popper must be the material in the numbered body supplied by STFF.

• Participants my use any additional materials (paints, plastic, feathers, epoxy, etc) to finish the popper for the competition.

• All finished poppers should be presented for judging at the October 13th STFF meeting.

• The winners will be announced at the November meeting.

• The criteria for selecting the winners will be at the discretion of the judge or judges…but in general will be based upon the workmanship and design of the finished popper

• All poppers submitted for judging will become the property of STFF and will be used at STFF’s discretion:

Prizes

·        1st place:    3 STFF Fly boxes

·        2^nd place:    1 large STFF fly box

·        3^rd place:     1 STFF coffee mug

Note: Numbered popper bodies will available at the July & August STFF     membership meetings
