John Gantner

John will present an all-day tying workshop at 9:00AM, Saturday, June 19th, 2010.

Learn many new fly patterns, new tying techniques, and new materials, all presented in a new teaching method that allows more personal interaction between the instructor and the tiers.

John Gantner has been fly fishing over 40 years and has been tying flies almost as long. He has had over 50 articles published in national fly fishing and fly tying magazines. He has guided and managed a fly fishing lodge in Colorado. He does demonstration fly tying at various venues including the FFF National Conclave and at the national Fly Fishing Show.

John has been asked to do a fly tying workshop at the FFF National Conclave this year in West Yellowstone, Montana using his newly devised teaching method that includes a strong power point slide show with the tying instruction. This workshop will cost $55.00 at the FFF conclave.
