Intermediate Fly Tying - Beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2016

This is an Intermediate Fly Tying Class. If you have not tied before, please take the Beginning Fly Tying Classes. STFF offers Spring and Fall beginners classes where they will loan you the tools and materials needed to get you started for a very small fee. After you complete the class and join the STFF club you are welcome to attend the Intermediate class.

The Intermediate Fly Tying classes will be meeting at Goodtimes Pizza, 22049 Old 44 Dr, Palo Cedro, CA (Map). We will meet at 6PM on the First Wednesday night of each month. We will be using the Meeting Room which is the first door on the right, just inside the front entrance.

Directions: From Redding take Hwy. 44 East to Palo Cedro off-ramp, turn left go under highway 44 driving North approx. 1/2 mile to Old Hwy 44 (4 way stop) turn right, 500 ft. on the right is Goodtimes Pizza. Or, click on the link above for a Map.

The cost of the class is $5.00 per class. You have an option at the January class only to pay $50.00 for a full year of classes (no refunds). That includes fly tying materials and a slice of Pizza (you can purchase a drink if you wish). Come join us, have some pizza, drink, good times and we’ll have fun tying some flies. The classes will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.

Prior to the class I will send an email to everyone who’s signed up explaining the fly or the internet site to review along with the thread color/size, etc. Please email me with your reservation at least 3 days prior to each class so I can make sure we have all the supplies needed for each student. Prior to class, please review the fly pattern we will be tying.

Don’t forget to bring the needed tools, vise, and thread for that fly (99% of the tying materials are provided by the club).

This fun, informal, interactive class includes fly tying videos, demonstrations, and occasional guest Tyers. Hope to see you there!
